I understand that porn is not just a hobby. It CAN be an addiction that affect negatively on the brain and soul. I just never thought too much about it because I've grown accustomed to what I've associated the most with.

That is no reason to quit, but talking it out with him will only escalate things. Hes most likely in too deep in his beliefs to think any other way, but if you like what you do, you can't let him take that away from you. Theres a big difference from being a christian, and being intolerant. Some would tell you.

I don't know. I've done research and I found that abstinence seems to be the key to having a clean conscience, since I already have a girlfriend that is already sexually attracted to me.

A clean conscience? Well it depends, do you feel bad about what you do or do you just feel bad that you got caught and was harshly judged by a snooping loved one?
Im not saying you should just go about your business as if this never happened, but don't go quitting what you love, cold turkey. That will only affect you mentally and make deep cuts, leaving mental scars for the future. You can limit yourself if you feel as if you got a tainted conscience.

Ok lets set aside right and wrong I don't want to tell you what to think but you're a Christian correct? And God is a God of love and acceptance. He created you and he loves you no matter what because it's unconditional. What makes God so great is that he loves. Do what you think is right for you but remember that in the eyes of The Lord you are always worth it.
