PvA Progress report - Jan,6,2014 +Screenshots!
Hello, been a while since I did one of these, but hey, better late then never,eh? ^^;*Looks around to see no one is amused.* Hehe...
Well. Some news, interesting news. I am working more on PvA, and hard at work when I'm able to take advantage of my time. However, there is a slight change in plans. By that, I mean the next release of PvA will not be a update of Lily's story. Rather, it will be the start of Marks's story. Mark being the Zangoose.
Yes, I did seem to go toward making Tommy's story next I ended up gravitating onto Marks. It's sort one of the wonders of spiting the stories up into there own games, since I can work on which ever I feel like and get the most out of that drive. I can control that drive to a extent but not all the time.
Okey, so how long along I am with this demo? I don't really know how to say. I can however show you a list of things that are going on.
Along with getting a new character story. There are a number of things upgraded/changed/added since Lily's release.
-Fixed movement bug
-Up scaled towns areas. May extend to all areas.
-Cut down on berries to only ones that are useful, based on there description.
-Made berries so you pick them up and add them to a on screen inventory.
-Made up my own berry. Still needs some designing.
-Added a small on screen item inventory.
-Added Poison and Paralysis status effects.
And now a list of things on the To-Do-List.
-Fix up various sprites/visuals.
-write lots of dialogue for story/NPCs
-Add more NPCs to city
-Still need to add one more attack for Mark. ^^;
-Make more levels... Wait, more engaging levels.
-Make the rigging for the boss scene.
-Draw lots of art or icons, Game overs, cutscene, etc...
-Make the two (and a half... sort of) vore animations.
-Select/edit/make/input music.
-Rebuild menus, most likely less menus then Lily's game had.
-Seek out custom Gen-5 Pokemon mystery dungeon sprites and get permission to use them. Hopefully this works out.
-Find genie and wish for the full game in wonderful 3D and perfect gameplay, puzzles, story telling, and vore scenes. XD
*Looks at that list* Yeah.. That's a list. Well, please wish me luck in me making the most of my time. I'm aiming for using my college break times to draw out art for the game.
I have some screenshots to show off of Mark's story. (No big spoilers.)
Mark's apartment room.

HustleWay City (Name could be changed.)

Deep Forest level. Also showing Mark with poison effect. The red box would be invisible in the actual game.

Side note here. Anyone know any better sprites or the trees in this forest stage?
Also, a good thing, yet with a down side. Thanks to college, I got a new laptop, so I can do some of the work on the go. The down side is I do both the art and animations in the Windows XP of MS paint. The laptop is on Windows 7 and I can't use the MS paint on that. Can anyone point me to a similar program to MS paint? It be for pixel work. I think I know one, but options would be nice. :3
Found a way to get windows XP paint on my windows 7 laptop. :P

I found this on another site your laptop DOES have paint:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/wi.....res/paint.aspx
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/.....features/paint
Paint is located in -
c:\windows\system32\mspaint.exe
If you can't locate paint in All Programs - Start - Accessories
Go to Control Panel - Programs and Features - Install Paint and you will probably need your
Windows 7 installation DVD.
Hope this helps.
The thing is I do have MS paint on my laptop, but the MS paint on XP and 7 are very different. Try as I might, I can't get 7 paint to do the pixel work I need. I was able to find a copy of XP paint and put it on my laptop.
Now, when I'm out with my parents and what-not, I can do some, not all, but some of the work that needs doing.
Thanks again for your HEAVY support! x3

Might I ask, have you asked and/or planned for any post gen-4 Pokemon in Voremon?
If you're looking for another software, there's GIMP.
But it works a bit differently than good ol' MS Paint (it's more like a simplified Photoshop)
Still, it's a freeware who works on Windows 7.
