Well, the word is out that we're officially in a recession--DUH! The recession also impacts upon sexuality, with 61% of couples reporting less sex due to stress over uncertain economic conditions. This is turn adds new meaning to the expression, "this economy really has me down!"
... and we're in a financially stressful time, that's true ...
... yet there was a baby boom in 2001 after 911 and this seems to happen whenever there's a major war-like crisis (WWII etc.) and people are, by definition, stressed ...
... and it's also known that the less money available in a society, the more children will be born ...
So I correlate that we are all going to get so stressed by not having sex that we'll end up having MORE children.
