███ Downloading information... please be patient... ███HI GUYS! :D
I'm home from England! I had some power issues with my laptop for some reason, so it misbehaved quite a bit while I was there, but it seems to be doing fine now that I have it on the base station at home.
So I shall give you guys a sort of short recap of all that has happened over the past three weeks!
-Got to England and we went all around Cambridge, London, Horsham, Stonehenge, Swindon, Uffington and everywhere in between. I had a blast and really enjoyed the culture! It's amazing how different it is compared to the american life style.
-The roads are so stinkin' tiny. O..O But so are the cars. :D
-I was able to see and learn a lot about things that were older than the USA! It was so super cool!
-I brought home so much candy and photos. :D (I'll have to get some flickr galleries up or something to show you guys since my photography account will probably have just the ones I like most. :D)
and the biggest news from all of this:
and I are now ENGAGED. :3c
*gush gush* I'm so happy, excited and giddy about it but man this changes so many priorities in my life!
Anywho... I'm off to get over my Jet Lag.... I should be back up and running soon enough. :)
-TTFN!

I might have taken some poking to get around to actually sorting out some of the finer details.
And might have required a little bit of help to not panic completely.
But I want Crys to be there with me in my life.
With Crys around I'm sure that I at least will be happy. Hopefully I can keep her as happy as she makes me.
Also, thanks for the Congrats! I'm so excited about it honestly. :3c
(PS: I love your plushies! Wow!~ Amazing work)
We avoided Swindon itself really - we skirted around the outskirts and suburbs of it for the most part.
Thank you for the congratulations in the next post as well.
Thanks J. <3
There are plenty of interesting things to see over here.
If you do decide to come over on your own make sure you plan out the sort of things you want to see in advance and do a little bit of research - there are a lot of places that are really interesting but not so well known. (Just as a small example: Ely and it's cathedral).
Also, take in to account it'll take longer over here to do the same distance from one place to another - none of our roads go in straight lines (unless they were originally planned by the Romans).
And lastly congratulations.
Thanks a bunch!
As a Brit who has spent a little bit of time in a number of parts of the USA I can honestly say there are a huge amount of things to see and do over there. Ranging from natural beauty of areas like Yosemite, the Grand Canyon, and Paloduro Canyon to the history in places like Mesa Grande to some of the cities like San Francisco and New York. All depends on what sort of things that you enjoy.
And four hundred years of physical separation plus entirely different geography will make for fairly divergent cultures... but did you get to drive on those tiny roads? where shoulders are a foreign concept? because there's no space for them? :x)
Can't wait to see the photos!
All of the vehicles I have access to are manual/stick-shift. Whereas most of the ones in the US tend to be automatic. Makes for a steep learning curve for those who are more used to the automatics.
Failing that you might be able to import one from a country which still drives on the same side of the road but has more manual vehicles.
Translation: AGAIN, Congrats. Side note: I KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN. <3 And you will both get alllll of the squishy hugs when I show up for your wedding. Yissss. I'm saving for a passport and tickets right now. In case you do get married over on the other side of the pond.
Although in many ways I wish Crys was still over here.
Thanks!
Although we did find Kinder Eggs, Thorntons, Malteasers, and a whole host of other things as well.
Don't take this the wrong way but I'm glad to see you weren't doing any streaming while you were over there (you mentioned doing that in a previous journal) :3. I was hoping you'd spend more time sight-seeing and spending time with Daravel!
As I posted just before:
<- luckiest of foxies.
I'm glad the streams didn't happen as well. I had way too much fun to do any work. XD
We didn't quite get to see everything I wanted to show Crys over here - which just means she has to come back to England at some point soon
Also I am very happy to hear that you guys had a TON of fun over there and I have been to Europe before so I know what it means to drive over there in tiny cars X3 But really it is great to hear you had and saw so many wonderful places and just had a great time overall!
Also if I am not getting to "Curious" here but where did he exactly propose to you over there? I don't need to know but just was curious is all X3
It was a quiet little proposal, and very sweet. <3 We went and picked out the ring together the day before I left and it is currently being resized. (I'll get it when he comes over next)
Ok that is always a good way to do it, nothing over the top but just very subtle and quite that does not draw much attention and is no less sweet, I get ya heh <3 I suppose that is a smart thing to do as well considering you can pick out something you both like together and if it needs to be re-sized (Which it does) then so be it but alright I hope by now you have picked it up and I hope it is still as pretty and beautiful as ever :p
Congrats to the both of you, and I hope you'll keep me updated, hun! You have my phone number, you know. :P
Thanks sweetheart. <3
