Away, and then back again

Wow, I've been very inactive here for a long time, like several months! Bad wolf!
I guess, a quick catch up -- local furry group is up and running nicely, we've nearly got 100 members signed up for our meetup.com group, and we're having regular meets which are easily drawing 20 people without a problem. Can't wait until we hit critical mass and things REALLY take off!
I did finally get my bunnywarez jammies, and they are currently my favorite after-work and weekend wear. I've even been to the store for late night beer runs three times in them, always with amusing reactions. So happy to have them!
Curling league has been a lot of fun, doing second session now... I suspect I will be curling every winter until I require a walker. Perfect sport for me. I have a secret vision of a fursuit curling team... it is a sport that would be completely possible to be really good at in fursuit. Just... have to assemble the right group of right-minded folks to make it happen.
Pulling in a bit in 2014. 2013 was a huge blast, as my first year as a furry. Lots of great furry things happened, lots of great furry things will continue to happen, but I won't be continuing to do all my extracurricular out-of-town activities at quite the pace as in the past year. Gotta let the pocketbook recover a bit. Still, RainFurrest is already on the schedule, so yay!
Sorry i've been away for so long. I'm not big on New Years Resolutions, but i do now resolve to be more involved with the community here. Expect to see a lot more from me this year, furs! :D
