Was having a conversation with a friend, pulled this up, was actually fairly pleased with the writing. Figured I'd share it here.
"The concert had ended over an hour ago, and I was still trudging about in the field that passes for a parking lot at The Gorge Amphitheatre. I suppose I had been too cocky when I arrived, assuming that I would locate my car quickly and not bothering to even notice the "Section D-2" or "Section C-1" or whatever posted on the lightpole nearest my parking spot. I certainly was aware of them now, feeling incredibly weary and elated and spent after a night spent at a form of Church known as a Pearl Jam concert."

"hippybear" was (and is) a moniker that I've used online since about 1986. It's not part of any fursona that I have -- it's related to the bear movement in gay culture more than anything else. I still have a presence in many parts of the interwebs as hippybear, but my fursona is Ergon Wolf.
