Talk'n Shit.... AGAIN!!

Ok, again, letting my ranting dick side come out and tell people what's what (as far as my humble opinion goes XD). So here's my 2.0 installment (or 3rd.... weird) of some things that have been bugging me about the fandom.
Disclaimer: I do love the furry fandom for the most part, and I have nothing against homosexuality or self-expression. My rant here is just my personal miffs about the fandom and should not be taken as a personal attack. These are my preferences. All negative comments or attempts to "convince" me I'm wrong will be laughed at, then deleted. These are opinions people. XD
1) Free-loaders! There are a good number of the furry community, especially at cons, that either look for others to free-load off of, or the ones that just naturally take and accept stuff and partake in things without thought to either ask or repay. Got people coming up to parties and having drinks but give no thought to contributing money or supplies or even conversation to the one providing them. Can't tell you how many times i've seen people come into a party that stick with the friends they brought, yet never are polite enough to engage in any conversation to the host(s). This also goes to the furs that come to conventions and expect to find others to support them throughout the con, either by coming fully unfunded and either offering sexual favors (or the "look how cute and innocent and helpless I am" types) for a room/food/art, or by bring money to pay for their room but nothing else so they just go all emo or play the "its ok, i don't have to eat" card which makes one or more in the room pay for their food. Now if you start off telling a person you are not going beforehand (and not the "awwwwwwwwwwww i can't go" whining til someone feels guilty enough to offer to help) and someone insists they pay your way, that's different.
2) Don't let/say that sex determines how good your con will be. I've heard several furs comment after a con that it "wasn't really worth it" because they didn't get laid. Same thing with parties; I've known people that either only go to a party because there will be someone there they can screw, or that they wont go because there isn't and jacking off at home seems more productive. A convention shouldn't be about sex! That's the shit that people keep reporting on and saying that gives the fandom a bad name. You should be going for other reasons, and sex should just be a side note. If the way you rank how much fun a con is is by how much play you get, then, you're the kind of fur that does NOT need to be going to cons (there, said it XD). Now again, I'm not saying you cant screw and whatever at a con, I'm just saying it doesn't need to be a requirement for the con's worth. You should be an adult and be able to leave a con sex-free without being down or depressed.
3) If you are the type that uses or sells drugs/paraphernalia/pills/elicit substances/illegal substances at cons... make sure you clear that with and let ALL of your convention roommates know that BEFORE you meet up at a hotel or they agree to room with you. Last thing someone needs to find out when they get to their room is you pulling out a storage tub of pot that stinks up the room and people coming by to buy it/weigh it.... Aside from it being illegal, it's disrespectful to just drop that on a person who then is just wondering when their room will be raided because you can smell it even outside the door, or that you didn't consider that other people have different opinions and comfort levels about the subject (especially since some furs may be ok with someone using like pot or whatever, but not selling it from their room/place). It's just another sign of thinking only of yourself. Also, a con doesn't really need to be the place to do such business; do that for a personal visit or something, again, we trying to make the fandom not seem as bad as the rest of the world thinks.
4) One great thing about the fandom is that most aren't afraid of touch. We are a very huggy/rubbing/petting community. It is also great that, as that community, it is much easier than most to walk up and join a conversation or make new friends because we know we definitely have at least a few things in common with a person if they're at the convention as well. However, you are an adult, you are a human being, if a person wants to hug and even offers to pet your head like a dog and you like it, that's perfectly fine. But, if you constantly get in people's paths, make them bump into you, grab their hand/arm to make them hug or pet you, or otherwise make yourself an obstacle that they know they only way to get you to leave them alone for the next 5 minutes is to give you a hug.... you're ruining and taking advantage of the more gentile demeanor of this fandom! If I want to pet you or rub you or hug you, I will do it. If you grab my hand and try to make me do it (and that doesn't count as asking), you are likely to get backhanded! Grow up!
5) Be interesting!!! I know that seems harsh and not informative, but it's the deep and basic principle to what I'm about to say. If ya wanna meet people, talk to people, make new friends, or even potentially find a mate,... be a well rounded individual! I know many of you have "passions" and things you like, but there needs to be more to you and what you bring to the conversation if ya wanna have more "mass" appeal. Ya don't need to be labeled as something like "that kid that can only talk about pokemon/DS games" or "that guy that can't stop talking about Yamaha"... Ya need to be able to talk about more things, like an adult, and be well rounded so you can hold a conversation (and more importantly, an interest) with a larger number of people. Again, its great that you like something so much; they even have groups at cons and forums online to talk about nothing but games, cars, sports, what have you online. But to be a real person, there needs to be more to you than that... that is easy to access. Heck, if you are thinking that you don't know anything else interesting to talk about..... there's the freaking internet!!!! Every single subject on this planet is on there for you to find info on and learn in depth.... Many things (other than just how Link has changed over the years, or what the latest poles are for game consoles, or the past 15 coaches of this team or whatever)! And if you are gunna sit there and tell me that you have looked and you can't find anything else.... on this entire freaking planet... that interests you..... or that the only other thing you have found is equally alienating and obscure....... Then maybe ya need some sort of intervention, because something ain't right.
6) Take hints about a person's privacy. If someone obviously doesn't go by their real or pedestrian name in front of others, then don't use it yourself in front of those people! People hide their "home" names from the fandom for many reasons, and blabbing it out, just because you know it, is not only irritating, but also kinda seems snooty with the "well i know his "real" name" or "we are so tight, I only use his birth name" privileged kinda attitude your giving off. Now if a person tells you either name is fine for you to say, that's different; but otherwise, don't!
Also with privacy, keep all the other stuff you know about a person ya know quiet! Unless you don't intend to be friends with them anymore, ya don't need to bring up in front of others things like their previous divorces, kinks, sexual practices, past relationships, etc., to people in general conversation! Now if the issue is you are truly trying to save someone from making a huge mistake (either by insulting your friend, or even by trying to date or fool around with your friend), then in some cases you can divulge some info. But know that there still is a chance on losing that friendship from your leaking of information. My personal opinion is always lean towards the greater good. Like if ya see someone interested in one of your friends, and you know that they are similar to the last 5 exs of your friend, and ya don't want this person to get hurt, then I think they should get a proper warning before they pursue your friend. Also in the case ya know is similar, but your friend is lying to them about being tested or whatever, then I'd also tell. But again, this is up to each person's discretion, and I think should only be used in the case where someone very likely will be harmed or very hurt from lack of the information.
7) Passive aggressive little shits! You know these people; they're the ones that say or do whatever they want to insult or harm or scare a person and just add a "lol/haha/jk" to it and think that washes it all away. The thing where they think they can call ya name after name and blame you for whatever or say how much they hate you or your friends, and just add a laugh or smily to it and then act like what they said didn't count because they said "J/K". The ones that always follow up a deeply insulting and mean-spirited comment with "I do it because I love/care".... These little whiny shits... need to be stabbed with sporks 'til they can't add giggles anymore! We are not idiots, NO ONE is fooled by you lol-ing at the end of your statements. You're not hiding anything, it just means that not only do we know you're dicks, but that you are spineless dicks that can't own up to and take responsibility for what you have said.
