Free HIV testing by post [UK]

For those in the UK
If you want to be tested for HIV and for some reason can't/don't want to go to a GUM clinic you can be tested by post and have the result texted to you.

The kit I ordered on the 17th of January came 4 days later on the 21st, I used it that night and posted it in the morning of the 22nd. The results came on the 30th [negative.]
I have never barebacked but I do practice oral without a condom so while the risk isn't as high there was still a risk and I felt it was worth knowing for sure.
Whether you use a condom or not it's always worth getting tested.
Just remember, it takes at least a month [I think] after exposure for HIV to become detectable in bloodwork.
