New/Old Job and Futures on the Horizion
I was contacted a couple of days ago by my previous employer requesting that I come back to work for them. I still cannot seem to understand why they think highly of me when all I did really was run conduit and terminate fiber; but never the less, I won't argue with the pay offered!
Which brings me to looking at my future. As it stands, I am no longer a student for Georgia Perimeter Collage. (they can rip off some other student) After a multitude of issues that have been building up since before I started taking courses, they finally came crashing down in a firey ball of flames. To simplify my situation, I took 5 classes for my first semester and I was some how only registered for 2 of the classes and was never accounted for in those 2 classes; So when it came to me finding out after tests that semester, I went about postal.
So in final, with the College BS out of the way, and me starting a good job I can begin to think clearly again. Life; as I've been told; is about opportunity and being happy about the chances you take. Well the opportunity I've had could very well lift my passion to front stage. To make this journal relatively short; I have a contract with the Boy Scouts of America (National Level) to produce a batch of video trailers with details I cannot explain. When I was originally approached with this opportunity, I didn't know what to think, I didn't even know if I wanted to take it. But I'm glad I did!
Well, there's my little rant for the next month equaled with a status update! ^^ Stay warm fuzzies, especially those who are like myself here in Georgia, about to get hit with what they say is the ice-storm of the century!!
