WII U!? WHY YOU PISS ME OFF SO BAD?

I bought a Wii U because I wanted to play my Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate game online with people, as well as some games that are coming out soon.
Then I find it wont connect, I go online all over the place, follow everyones instructions to manual set up, I put in everything like everyone says and it just wont work!
Does anyone know anything different that can help?

Is it worth getting? I didn't like Wii much.
I called customer support and they gave me a method to get it working that I need to try out but it should connect eventually.
Some of their games like New Super Mario Bros, although a remake for the 5-7th time, is really only fun with friends to play since its multiplayer now.
Also there are some good games coming out soon, Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros, Monster Hunter 4
