there's still many good hangouts and clubs even sandboxes. i've been around a few and i think its still pretty active if not much better than it used to be in some ways.

Still quite a few folks on there, though admittedly it can seem kinda quiet sometimes. Look me up when you're on :)

I just started playing SL a couple weeks ago, and it's pretty busy in some areas. You have to go where there is higher traffic, though: There are a lot, and I mean a LOT, of places that are beautifully created, that someone obviously put a lot of effort into, that are completely deserted. Kind of breaks my heart, as an artistic type.

I dance and generally whore it up at a place called The Ark. It's a pretty bustling club with lots of friendly and fun people. Stop by for a visit if you're in the area!

i log onto it sometimes. I usually go weeks or months between logins. Its meh, in all honesty.

I used to be on daily when my friends were on and I had things to do on it. But now I can't find anything to do. :/

Its okaish but lots people stopped playing it for one of 3 reasons

Lack of time
How most treat you as noone if you don't got money/supermadeavatar
How fandom is "worse" there

I personally stopped playing because how laggy it was...

WOW, they finally have real mesh avatars! I wonder how difficult it would be to use my own dino chars. Does anyone has experience with this?

Just stick to one of the mesh avatar creator inworld.
They are in common friendly with help in such things.
