Upcoming Surgery

Just wanted to let everyone know that I may not be around for a few days in the near future? I cannot say for certain as I have no idea how much pain I will be in or how loopy I'm going to be. To summarize, I'll say I'm-
-Having surgery on the 26th (Wednesday)
-It's considered "minor" by my doctor but I'm absolutely terrified?
-No I'd rather not go into detail what it's for, sorry. :(
-I'll be out of work for like a week
I HOPE that this will give me an opportunity to be productive in art! But, again, I have no idea if the complications from the surgery will keep me from being able to sit here and draw or not. I.. also sort of have a paranoid (and I know COMPLETELY ILLOGICAL) fear of dying under anesthesia? So, uh... if nobody hears from me for like 2 weeks I'm part of that .01% or w/e that never wakes up and yeah... ._. *AHEM* Anyway- and no, no amount of telling me "Oh that won't happen" will remove that. I KNOW IT WON'T- but there's that annoying part of my brain, like fucking Clippit, always pops up "Oh hi! Did you know ___ people die per year from- SHUTUP CLIPPIT BRAIN!!
So that's what's up. "Minor" surgery, I'm told, on the 26th. Be out for a bit maybe? Or massively productive? Paranoid badger, etc etc etc.

My anesthesia was IV delivered by apparently a very good doctor? Very quick. I remember laying there, the nurse talking to me, and internally knowing "This is the kind of chatter they do, waiting for you to pass out." And then waking up some while later, and I recall distinctly that my muscular control was crap at first and I was really weak. Which upset me, and I was all trying to heave myself up and sit up and be all independent. XD
You'll be fine, I can vouch for that having just gone under! Good luck to you when you have yours done! :x Surgery's easy. Recovery's the bitch!
Apparently I'll be left in their hospital for about 2 weeks, trying to get accustomed to my new "bits"
Blahhh just so much to take in xD but I'm glad you're back safe and sound from your surgery =3 sounds like it went really well and I'm happy about that ^^
But I also don't envy the recovery or anything. Omg, I can only imagine. o3o;; But I'm sure it's worth it in the end! That's super important!
Been waiting forever for this and soooo excited to actually go about it =D
And yeah omg the recovery is apparently gonna be fun ;-; hopefully will be able to drag my boyfriend with me because I'll need all the support I can get o3o
