Resolutions for 2009

I'm healing from the end of my 3 year relationship and move across the country and as soon as the commissions and gifts on my current list are done, I'll be starting up "Art for Me". I dont want to be hindered by huge constraints like some commissions place on the artist. Don't get me wrong, sometimes its nice and actually fun to be inspired by someone elses character, or color scheme, or just the way they CG in general, and I'll still be up for that sort of thing. I just wont be taking orders for "I want my OC posed like so, with this in the background, and this color scheme, looking this way". Thats a little too restricting for me right now.
I want to give myself a chance to breath and try to expand in my knowledge of art. I want to work on furthering my skill as an artist.
I'm toying with the idea of selling any original marker, painting, or colored pencil works I might do. Not sure if I'll be auctioning them or just setting a price. (At least for the ones I can bare to part with that is)
I DO need to start stashing cash for Anthrocon'09 so if you have loose ideas, like an animal and a color scheme, I'll still take commissions like that, and any type of fanart as well. Also BADGES (in marker and or colored pencil on bristol) and also CG icons are still open.
I hope everyone can understand where I'm coming from and I really want to continue to update my gallery with artwork you'll enjoy looking at!
My Resolutions for 2009
1. Become a better artist & do art I enjoy
2. Work on the art/site for The Sithen Project.
3. Save money for a new monitor and anthrocon.
4. Get healthier, eat better and exercise more.
SIDE NOTES:
1.My commissions, trades and giftarts will be done soon. Im shooting for sometime in the begining of January, the only exeptions are the people that have put themselves on hold.
2. The only artwork available in 2009 are:
-CG icons (commission)
-Traditional Media Badges Shipped (commission)
-Traditional Media Originals Shipped (personal art auctions)
-Possible Prints
