Elliots Spring Gathering 2014

So with Elliotts Spring Gathering under 2 months away, who will I be seeing there?
Me and
icelyon have been along to ESG for the past two years now, and both events have been loads of fun :) The last event was in Las Vegas and was such an awesome experience. The whole party atmosphere of the convention, the fursuiters, the strip, meeting lots of friends, gambling (on the penny slots, while Icelyon blew through his money xD), all with a little bit of drinking :P We still have so much more in Vegas we want to see, so it made sense to come back :) PLUS there's nothing quite like experiencing a private rooftop pool party held just for the convention attendee's. ESG events are truly something special.
The event always seems to throw in a curve ball when you least expect it :) They treated every attendee to a massive brazilian bbq last year, a private nightclub dance with Orbital and a special poolside suite just for the Con to access. They also sent us to disneyland back in 2012 (all of which would have easily have cost more than the con registration itself :P)! Couple that with guests like Rob Paulsen (Voice of Pinky, Yakko, Raphael/Donatello etc) and Maurice Lamarche (Animaniacs, Futurama), who've worked on some of my favourite shows, and it makes you wonder where you'll ever get to see this kind of experience anywhere else :)
Me and Ice didn't get to fursuit last year, so we're looking forward to some iconic shots in suit this year. We've got to rent a limo and hit the strip! :)
Last year was at the Hard Rock Hotel but, in the spirit of always keeping it fresh, ESG have now moved to the Palms Casino Resort (http://www.palms.com) It took about 10 seconds of looking through the gallery to make me want to go - And above all, I miss having a tan! x3
I've seen the following guys post up saying they'll be headed there too, which is very exciting. Some very talented artists!

I used to get emails for the ESG event every year for about six years. Finally I unsubscribed from the mailing list in about 2008. Elliot contacted me personally on AIM asking why I left the mailing list and I said it was because I lived in Connecticut and saw no likelihood that I would ever attend the event.
And then I actually lived in Vegas for several months of time in 2011.
So literally the year I actually decide to move to Florida (I now live in Kissimmee) is the year he starts having it in Las Vegas.
