Nothing good happens after 2am. -how I met your mother

This quote has never rang truer than anything I've ever heard. It's currently after 2am. I've been sitting here in the dark,family Guy playing in the background being ignored as I type. Sunsets,sunrises. I like to reminisce of things that make me feel better after each day. Voices shouting over my music, arguments and threats. And I just sit and try to fade out my sister and her girlfriend words. I think back to when I was a young pup, my mother cutting pumpkins with my sister and I. The sloppy faces we made, my heart beats rapidly with excitement as we placed the candles inside after hollowing them. Finally, silence in the apartment. I wasn't worried about them anymore. They just go to bed while I sit alone. Drawing, trying to imagine what it is that causes such anger at one another, the stupidity of staying with someone you fight with each day..I finished my drawing. A new character that I may put in a comic. Maybe something light hearted and happy or maybe something dark and sinister? Who knows? The silence is killing me. Time to listen to some industrial as I try to sleep on the beige bed that is the couch.
