Ironically enough, not. It is a sad world and a lot of those myths I still hear/witness today.

People need to be more educated on sexualities in general. A lot of people categorize EVERYONE of a certain sexuality in the same group, when that's not necessarily true. As you stated above, there are many gray areas in every sexuality, and vary from person to person.

What the problem is with sexualities is that there seems to be a new one popping up at least once a month or so. It's hard for some people to grasp onto them let alone understand them.

That's very true. In all honesty, no one needs labeles. We are all humans, no matter gender or sexuality. :)

Whenever I tell people I'm bisexual they always think it means I want one of both at the same time. I can hardly handle one relationship, I could never imaging 2. So here I am, a monogamous bisexual! Behold the rarity!

I do know and understand what you mean about the whole bi thing though. Before I learned about pansexuality, I used to consider myself bisexual with a strong female preference. (Which, you know, must OBVIOUSLY make me a lesbian.... -.-; )

being bisexual, when I hear someone else say they're bisexual, all I get is 'open to suggestion' unless they specify. might as well say what your gender is, it's that vague. it's almost like 'yeah, I can see that. but what type?'

I mis-typed. I once identified as bisexual before I heard about pansexuality.

Some people will just stick with the bisexual thing because they don't understand that there are, in fact, some various different forms of bisexuality. If they're "Open To Suggestion", it generally means they don't know what "form" of said sexuality they want/are. (or, at least in my experience.)

Being aware of sexuality is a massive silliness.

I called myself bi For ages just because i didn't know any better, then i just couldn't be bothered calling myself pan for a while, therefore it stuck.

My new way of putting it to myself?

OMNISEXUAL. Why? because i like the greek more, that's all.
