Yep, we're still here

Gyah! I swear I don't mean to be so 'dead' on DA & FA lately. I'm not going to bore you with the usual details about upcoming crawfish boil and my birthday, you guys hear about that every year. I'm just checking in to let ya'll know we are still here. We had to move back in December, my father-in-law listened one too many times to his girlfriend and told us to get out of our appartment after I attempted to pay him something toward rent, thankfully, we had friends who were willing to let us move in with them and had the spare room for it. Then, there were sicknesses, tire issues, and other vehicle issues, but I'm not going into all of that either. I've mainly been silent on these two sites, because my Salt_the_Catgirl account on Fanfiction.net has been very active. I've probably only had three days tops since I started working at Lowe's back in September that I haven't sat down and written anything.
What I'm really here for today, other than letting you guys know we're still alive and well, is that
Fey1515 has just spent the last two days being interviewed for Replenishment Specialist at JC Penny's, which is right across the road from the Lowe's store I work at. They just called him back, told him how much they'll be giving him an hour and that they'll call him back and let him know when to be there after the background check comes in, which could take up to two weeks. *SQUEEEEEEEE!!!!* <3
*EDIT* Oh, and all the excitement over that, I forgot to offer one other tidbit of goodnews... Even though I'm part-time and work nothing but the self check out registers anymore, when Lowe's had their store-wide meeting, I was awarded "Cashier of the Year". I'm also one of the three biggest sellers for selling "Shamrocks for Muscular Distrophy" during the MDA charity drive (I'll get back to everyone with numbers on how many I sold when I know, they're still doing it until Monday, but I don't go back until Tuesday).
