So I don't get on very often anymore. It seems as though every time something starts to work out right, something else goes wrong. ;_; The link above is a link to a fundraiser I've set up on Facebook.
Long story short, my husband :
Fey1515: has been diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. We've been trying to get him on Disability since November, but his application is on hold until April. This is only his first application, too. He's had to quit his job. I've either missed a rent payment somewhere, or was late with one, and due to late fees owe my landlords a hefty sum of $2200. I was informed Tuesday that the courts have awarded them the apartment and I have until TOMORROW (Monday the 18th) to get them the full amount of $1135 or we will be removed from the premise. My dad has offered to take back my cats, but is unable to help me financially and has not extended an offer for us to stay there ourselves. I've already paid $500 of the $1135, but still need the remaining $635.
I spent Wednesday and Thursday trying to find someone who could help me in that endeavor. None of the places I've contacted are equipped to help me before April or have been back in touch with me as of yet. I have two applications in place but have not heard a decision on either of them. In a last desperate measure last night, I set up a fundraiser on Facebook. If you can spare anything to help, please go to the link above, or at least share it.
If anything, those of you who do, keep us in your prayers. I'm not looking forward to tomorrow morning.
