English Toffee
I hit my first wall today, I think. I knew how I wanted the novel to start, and I know how I want it to end, but getting from point A to Z will require a lot of filler. It will have to be a fine mix of exposition, info dumps, character development, and action. Thankfully, a few breaks and some time careful thought to the plot gave me the inspiration I needed to jump that small hurdle, and help me reach my quota for the day.
At about 500 words left this evening, I decided to have a break. I went down to the nearest Tim Horton's (Canadian Starbucks, essentially), and I got myself a nice, warm, English Toffee.
If you don't know what an English Toffee is, it's basically a Tootsie Roll in a cup. Delicious.
Current Novel Status: 6,120/100,000 words
