There goes 3,884 songs.
I mostly use my ol' iPod Touch for musics while I draw to keep me motivated. Apparently it ran out of battery and now as I charged and turned it on again, it prompt me to a screen of a USB plug with iTunes icon.
Oh-shitty-fuck-no.
SHITTY-FUCK-NO!
I have to restore it, but my PC where this thing synced to is still kapput.
APPLE, you have forsaken me once again!! *spits in disgust*

I'm just fine with a walkman.
I just realized you were probably thinking of a cassette player. LOL
As I was typing, I realized Sony had released CD players and MP3 players under the Walkman name, but I thought the quip was too good to simply delete.
And yes, I actually bought a PSP (1000) when I was looking at MP3 players because I thought it was the best deal for the money, and it never let me down. I just use my iPhone for that now, but every day I think more about pulling out the PSP and buying a bunch more Memory Sticks :P
Nothing on Sony has interested me since Naughty Dog stopped making Crash Bandicoot and Parappa stopped being cool. I just can't take video games seriously unless there's cartoons.
Tho I heard Sly Cooper and Jak Daxter were good games, either way I'm broke now. XD
Apple still kinda sucks, but ah well~.
One of the things that really bothers me about the iPod is that it doesn't allow you to sync to multiple computers. I know it's to help avoid piracy and all, but...oh no, I can't figure out how to manually search for and copy an MP3, nor do I know how to do an audio capture and save to another file, my budding career as a music thief has been thwarted by a cunning corporation!
My iPod still displays the same screen no matter how much my pathetic attempts to bypass the Recovery Mode.
I still got the PSP with me with a handful of songs, but it's too large, and I can't bring it with me anywhere.
Thats how i was able to save about 6k songs from one of my old desktops ^^
I managed to restore my iPod in my friend's computer without syncing (if that happens, it'll erase all of the media inside in the process) by using a software.
Glad to hear you got things worked out! : 3
