Drama cards ( the magic spells of PopuFur the game )

I am currently working on designing and tweaking the spell cards in Popufur and figured I would let you guys take a sneak peak into how they work and how a player acquires them. I know this will be out of context but I will be posting a write up of the game's phases soon to elaborate on them a bit more. please excuse any typos for this is just copy/pasted from my google doc. I will go through and correct everything when I make official anouncements.
Drama deck (spells)
Drama cards will work as the game’s magic spells. a player acuires these cards through various means and holds on to them until they are needed. they have one time use effects and can be played at any time dureing the game.(unless a card specificly says otherwise EX play on your turn, or play after X happens ) thus giveing players a reason to pay attention to the board, when it is not currently their turn.
each character will begin the game with one drama car. players may have up to 2 drama cards at any time.(unless their character sheet says otherwise) if they obtain a new one they must choose one to discard at the end of their turn, if they still have more than 2
players will have opportunities to gain more drama cards throughout the course of the game. they may purchase one in the con phase at the zoo space. and the player who turns in the least amount of follower tokens dureing the upload phase gains one for free. (if it is a tie, both players receive one)
Possible cards
1. ”thats a good idea” play after another player uses a drama card, after that cards effects resolve, place the other card in your inventory rather than placing it in the discard pile. discard this card after use.
2. ”an emergency commission” you may discard one follower token to gain 2 con dollars.
3. ” one more won't kill you! “ play only during the room party phase after another play has accumulated alcohol ticks(or after they have engaged a space and knocked on the door, but
before he/she scores any points in their chosen room). that player immediately adds one alcohol tick to their threshold tracker. if this pushes the player to their threshold they must immediately take the alcohol test as if the extra beer tick was originally part of the space. they gain one follower token when you play this card.
4. water it down. remove or ignore the gain of one alcohol token.
5. whenever you must roll any number of dice roll an extra die. then discard one of the dice you rolled.
6. throw money at it till it works! play after any dice are rolled. you may pay one con dollar to re roll a single dice. you may do this as many times as you can afford.
7. play after an opponent rolls any amount of dice. you pick one of the rolled dice, that player must reroll the chosen dice. discard this card and one follower token after use ( cannot be played if you have no follower tokens)
8 “ Tell your friends” play immediately after gaining any amount of follower tokens. immediately gain one extra follower token.
9. “ there can only be one troll!l” each opponent discards one drama card unless they give you one con dollar. play only during your turn
10. why would you go anywhere else? you may encounter the same space again this turn
13. discount code. purchase one item from the dealers den at half of its value rounded up (to a minimum of one) Ex. a item that costs 5 con dollars now costs 3
14. our characters look to similar! original character copier! choose a player, that player must give you one of his commission tokens.
15. no time for your bullshit. play when another player targets you with a drama card. roll a dice. on a 4-5 or 6 reverse the direction of the card as if you played the drama card on them.
16. who let the creeper in?! play during the room party phase. shut down a party of your choosing. flip a room party card face down to indicate that party has ended any players in this space acquire an additional alcohol token. to indicate they chug the rest of the drink they just poured. move any players in this room to the hallway space outside of the room. if the extra beer pushes any of these player’s to their alcohol limit they do not check the alcohol limit chart but instead move their player to the elevator space. they can not take any more turns this room party phase but do not lose any followers they may have gained this round.
17. an anonymous concerned hotel patron. Hotel security. play this card dureing the room party phase. choose a room. any players in this room must discard one con dollar to pay for damages to the room. flip the chosen room face down to indicate that the party is over and move any players on this space to the hallway.
18. play during the con phase before drawing a card from the random event deck look at the top 2 cards. place one on the bottom of the deck and play the other one.
19. lets get a commission together! when you opt to buy a commission card from artist ally, pick another player. that player must give you one con dollar. you draw 2 cards and pick which one you want, give the other to the chosen player. you dont have to pay for this commission.
20. just let it go. when you play this card draw a drama card of your choice from the drama card discard pile.
21. I heard a rumor. play before another player moves his character during the con or room party phase. you choose which room or area this player moves to this turn. this player engages this space as normal. ( you may not send a player to a room he can’t enter)
22. Awkward RP messages posted on a public forum. awkwardness, no player may play drama cards untill your next turn.
23. I hate that guy too! reduce a popufurs trait value by 2 (to a minimum of one)for one battle.
24. slanderous blog post. when you play this card take one follower or con dollar from a player of your choice. they choose which to give you
25. STFU. play after another player plays any drama card. that card does not activate.
26. well rounded individual. in a popufur encounter you may add your highest and lowest trait value together for a single roll. you count this roll as one of the combined traits
27.they will never even know. choose a player and take an item of your choice from them, you must give them an item of the same type in return (ex. trade a fox tail for a wolf tail) they may choose to give you 3 of their follower tokens instead. if they dont have 3 they must trade.
28. Gossip. you may discard a single popufur card from any region. take all the follower tokens on him for yourself but do not gain the rewards listed on the card.
if you have any ideas for cards that would make a good addition feel free to post them and i will see if there is a way they can work in this game. what types of furry drama have you guys encountered in your time in the fandom?
