My Furry World

0. What is your furry world like?
My furry world is exotic and mystical, an empire that occupies five distinctly different planets in a single solar system. This particular world is also part of a story i have been working on for fun in my spare time...including all the simplicities and complexities of life and such. There is no modern tech to speak of, the only technology that exists is that of medieval Europe, save the modern developments of sanitation. Laws are simple and fair to all, however a caste system does exist. The main planet, "Noxia" (the real name i am not comfortable disclosing) is the center of the empire, where all the other planets send their wares and resources. Especially fresh water, as "Noxia" has no natural waterways of its own due to its artificial construction. This world is very unique and filed with magic and mystery. Of course this empire is ruled by me as i am sure you guessed. The surrounding planets are named after the four legendary rivers of Greek mythology: Archon, Styx, Lethys, and Phalageon (or however its spelled). These planets serve specific tasks. Archon holds all fresh water and saltwater sea life, filled with fishing villages that send most of their produce to "Noxia" for selling and supplying sustenance. Lethys is the planet that houses most of the empires libraries including the mystic school of magick arts named Rothburnheim, which is maintained and run by the ehadmaster Xetrov. Lethys also is the producer of wood and game animals, as well as magical crystals which are naturally abundent. Phalageon, (river of fire) is a mountanious planet where all precious stones and metals are mined and turned into useful items such as utensils, pots, pans, weapons, nails and jewelry. Styx of course, (being the primary river in the Greek underworld) is the large planets that serves as a graveyard for those who have passed away, guarded and maintained by the Necromancers, though, unlike normal necromancers who raise the dead, these necromancers make sure no unruly magic or spells-gone-wild disturb the sleep of the deceased. These necromancers are also permitted to raise the bodies of those who have no living relatives that remember them as they were in life. These raised, specters, zombies, skeletons and wraiths protect the planet from invaders and also keep the necromancers in check, as these raised dead follow the will of their necromancer masters to an extent, and that extent is the laws set forth by the Lord (namely me, Mikron).
1. Do humans exist in your furry world? If so, how do they treat/how are they treated by the furries?
Yes humans do exist in my furry world. As mentioned earlier there IS a caste system. Humans make up the lower classes of merchants, soldiers, farmers, fishermen, and other lower tasked jobs. Forging and mining are the labors of the dwarves however, and the raising of wood and game animals the work of the elves. Humans are not mistreated however, unless they break the law like all citizens. Yes the lower classes of humans live in harmony with the upper classes. Furries form the upper classes of course. The furries don't mistreat humans as states the laws. Furries do however carry their air of superiority. Slaves in the empire are only composed of prisoners of war, some of which are human. Most humans are treated normally, with dignity and respect but are not revered by the upper classes, they are just treated fairly.
2. Do non-morphic animals exist in your furry world? If so, how do they treat/how are they treated by the furries?
Yes they do exist. As mentioned game animals and fish are hunted, killed, and gathered to fit the needs of the people and citizens, never for fun. In the empire, non-morphic animals are greatly revered and respected by all, especially by the furries. Some are pets, some are used for producing useful items like wool. Either way, non-morphic animals are respected and revered, and by law it is required that all slain animals be honored through prayer after killing them and thanking them for the bounty of their bodies as many ancient cultures did, like the Native Americans.
3. Do non-mammalian “furries” exist in your furry world? If so, how do they treat/how are they treated by the mammal-furries?
Yes, scaley furries do exist. However no dragon furries exist in my world only due to the fact that all the dragons are feral and wild, yet answer the call of the Lord of the Empire (again, me) when called upon. the mammalian furries treat the non-mammalian furries as any other, with dignity, respect and harmony.
4. Do other mythological creatures (dragons etc.) exist in your furry world? If so, how do they treat/how are they treated by the furries?
As fore mentioned, yes dragons, dwarves, elves and every other magical and mythological creature exists. The furries treat them, again as mentioned above, with dignity, respect and harmony between them. No one is looked down upon with disgust with the exception of ogres, goblins, orcs, and trolls.
5. Does Magic operate in your furry world? If so, rate its frequency and power on a scale of 1 to 10. (the higher the rating the more common and/or powerful magic is).
deffinatly 10. In fact the entire mechanical existence of "Noxia" depends on magic. Especially designed to work by sustaining life by using the three most powerful souls in the empire: the oldest tree (usually raninging between 500-100 years), the fierecest beast (not mythical beast but non-morphic animals like a feral wolf), and the most compassionate mortal or human (usually some sort of healer). the Lord of the Empire is never chosen because I am needed to collect these souls and put them where they need to be in order to sustain life on "Noxia:" otherwise the planet would collapse and implode. This ritual is only needed to be done every 10,000 years.
6. Describe the technology level of your furry world?
tech level is moderate at best. as magic is used to operate most of the 'machines' save war machines of medieval times, however modern sanitation practices and devices exist.
7. On a scale of 1 to 10 how animal-like are furries in your world? (the higher the rating, the more animalistic the furries in your world).
I would say 2, most of the furries in my world are very conscious of their animalistic nature yet usually do not act upon it as the laws forbid it. These furries form upper classes however primal furry tribes do exist in the more isolated areas of the empire.
8. How do the different furry “species” get along in your furry world?
The laws forbid any any murdering or hunting of each other among the furry classes. However i have to say that the canines, especially jackals are perhaps the highest class of the upper classes. they are not the most favored by humans and the other classes but the jackals are not callous towards their fellow furries. Some species such as wolves and rabbits however do not get along as well as they should, but any actions taken to harm each other is always caught and duely punished. Murder is over all forbidden save the royal guilds of assassins. Crime is not that common, but it does exist, there are raiding parties, there are criminals and evil warlords, and such, and yes even the occasional highway robber. But all crime is always dealt with and sought out.
