some scripter from reddit wanted to feel special

It was an account named "TheNSA" that floated around with a special program and watched everyone

Actually, it was this script that liked to click on the 'watch' link, find another name from that account, click on the 'watch' link, find another...

It was stupid. It was pointless. And, it was a form of DDoS against FA by pushing their servers to process thousands of database changes and push bytes of information over the line each second. So, it was robbing all us legit users of speed and functionality. So, if you suddenly lost a few subscriptions, don't fret. Probably just those valueless attacks being wiped clean by management.

What I'm worried about is how many other vulnerabilities exist that are of a similar nature. Imagine if we can't make text replies more then once a minute, because some retard script tries making replies a hundred at a time with something stupid like...
