I got some HTTYD artz in the works. I wanna finish the digimon comic project first. But I really dont want to see Mikhail fade into the background.

like Drakengard 2, the gameplay was repetitive as hell, but the story was utterly amazing, including some amazing( and sad) endings. Super pumped for Drakengard 3, if only for the story.

That is how the 3rd one is aswell. The story is awesome and the banter between characters is hilarious! This game has alot more humor to it then the other two did. Also Mikhail is th exact opposite of Angelus and Legna. He is a total optimist who thinks you can talk everything out. He doesn't like fighting and is adorable! Plus the Intoners in this game are sexually charged, so there ends up being alot of talk about carnal relations. Even Mikhail gets dragged into the conversations a few times. I highly recommend grabbing a copy of it while you can * its a limit run of copies as far as I know.*

Hmm... You say it's a bit like Dynasty Warriors? Well... I play Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3, and I'm ok with that.

I have wanted to get these games. Even if the combat isn't all the great I would like to try to understand the story.

If you dont mind that type of combat then you might like the games. The dragon aspect helps keep it interesting

So, Drakengard 3 is good? I liked the first one (oh my god did I hate that ending though, the one where they get bombed), the second was fine, but the third looked a little too zany and out of place.

The gameplay is terribly repetitive but the story is great. Its alittle hard to get used to at the beginning....but if you stick with it till the end its worth it :)

Whooo, this will be good, a fan-fiction always entertains, and this will be especially fun due to how innocent Mikhail is. I can't wait for one to be magiced into existence.

Also, as the game was pretty casual about sex while talking about it, I was surprised that there was no porn of it besides the recent work of Narse.

I have the first game, but couldn't get into it because the gameplay was so 'meh'. It's rare for me to suffer through bad gameplay just for the dragons or any other setting or character that I would otherwise like.
Then there's Panzer Dragoon, which is awesome of course, but the dragon design is so weird that it is not my favorite to say the least. Still surprising that I don't think I've ever seen porn of it.

Try Crimson Dragon. Its made by most of the same team that did the panzer dragoon games. It has some pretty cool dragon designs in it

Seems like each dragon in the Drakengard game has an amazing design, hell all of the characters have pretty awesome design.
Might I ask, So far, out of all the games, could you pick a fave beastie or human, or possible both?

Of the Drakengard games, I gotta say Mikhail is my fav for the dragons by far!!!! He is truly adorable! Infact there was a pole for favorite drakengard 3 character floating around the net recently....no surprise Mikhail got numba 1 :) As for the human characters in the series, I liked Zero as I got used to her. She is pretty morbid but has a bit of dark humor that makes up for it. Caim is a close second though

Definitely waiting for HTTYD 2 this week, and seeing more of the cute & sexay Toothless !!!

I admit I was gonna skip this game altogether after missing out on the Japanese voice pack, but you've indirectly talked me into it ;)
My copy arrives in the mail in a couple days. Doubt I can finish it before HtTYD but I can at least add Mikhail to my list of "need to draw"

Awesome! You wont regret it Syri :) Also, you can download the Japanese voice pack for a couple bucks. Its 10gb and takes forever to install....just a heads up :P

Oh awesome news! They made it sound like it was a Collector's Edition exclusive. It's totally worth the hassle to me (though 10gb?! Wow!).

I was worried before that it would tear my heart out and stomp on it like the previous two games, but after watching Game of Thrones I don't think there's much left to tear out ;)

Oh my god you weren't kidding! I haven't even bought the DLC yet; I just loaded the disc and it had a 125MB update, which took 5 minutes to download, 10 minutes to install, and now 45 minutes of "Installing required game files to the PS3". I have no clue what it's doing. Is it installing the game to the harddrive or something?

yeah its installing it to the harddrive....not that it really helps with the load times. Just be patient with it, the story is worth it when you get to ending D

No worries, I planned on the first day probably being mostly game updates. I'm hyped for it though :)

Make sure you download the DLC packs for the characters aswell. They net you alot of extra gold and give some good backstory. Not to mention you get to play as a dragoness named Gabriella in them too. Skadjer and I both believe you are gonna fall in love with her

Oh awesome! The online store made it look like One's DLC wasn't available yet. I was definitely planning on getting the full pack, it's more a matter of when I will have the funds :)
I've played through the first couple chapters so far. I'm definitely loving this game!

I grabbed the DLC. What order should I play it? DLC first and then beat the main game or should I beat the game first?

you gotta beat the game and get ending A first before it lets you play the DLC.....atleast I think thats the case

I think I was spoiled the ending of either Drakengard 1 or 2 and by god, it broke my heart! These games are so morbid, though I find it interesting that I grieve when the dragon dies, not any human.... >_> Hmnh... Could still try to write something. Maybe a happy ending for this trilogy?

I adore the Drakengard Series and Nier. Never played 3 though. Mikael just seems like the biggest adorable cutie ever though.

Mikhail is definitely one of the cutest dragons I've ever seen! I especially love that little song he sings in the game. X3
