Name and Species Help

So.. I want to work on Unknown again. I want to bring her back out of Hibernation. I am going to use her original look again with a minor tweak.
The thing I am stuck on is her Species and a rename of sorts.
I use to call her a Anubian Jackal. Well that is getting old as there are a lot of them. She is an Alien from a planet called Shaylar. I am trying to think of what I can call her Race/Species. Darius was feline like with horns and bat wings but he isn't important right now. Unknown is as she is my Alter Ego. Ugh why can't I think of something.
[Edit] I came up with a name for her race. The Arkhiri. I like it a lot. Now to write a description of her kind to go with it.
Now for her name. I am keeping it as Unknown but the hubs thinks I should change how it is spelled. Kinda like my name is Dana but lets spell it Deyna to make it look different but still pronounced Dana. This one is tricky.
Names: Uhnown (Don't like it.), Uhnon (Doesn't sound like unknown.). Rawr. I don't think it will be possible. *bangs head on desk*
