Last night I was reading a newspaper as I was waiting to clock in for work, I came across this article saying that scientists were exploring the POSSIBILITY of trees planted near a chemical plant here in the Rio Grande valley to help prevent pollution. I mean seriously that is just... Wow

it may not stop pollutants from being put into the environment but the trees can takes some out, but still, scientists are stupid. you have high school students who know better than them

actually, some trees and plans naturally absorb toxic things in enviroments, if you blow smoke from a camp fire or ciggarete at a tree it WILL absorb as much of it can and filter it.
