I have no idea honestly. Most old school Christians (like my parents) would say no.

My parents have said that if you are gay and want to be saved, you have to renounce being gay before asking God into your heart.

this is much like the Gay Christian conversation, but it is more serious, the permanent step is taken, does that mean the cis is with out redemption?

It is about that person's relationship with Jesus. No one can speak for god, why should be judge for him? Because someone is gender reassign, does not make them evil.. did they hurt someone?, did they kill someone, they did not do anything that cannot be forgiven. But again.. *WE* do not get to judge .. *HE* *god* that is whom needs to be addressed.

Again we need to look at who *we* pass judgement on. I believe you can trans and still lead a christian life. It is all about how you treat others. That is what it boils down to.. what IS Christianity about. does the transgender believe this to be true.. Are we even the same gender when we get to heaven? Do we need a gender in heaven? IU do not recall anyone having little angle babies up there.. Angels are said to be androgynous... and lack a true gender... so..

Some would say that by changing gender the person is "playing god". That god makes no mistakes and therefore if the person was born that gender then that would be their "cross to bear". Some would believe that by rendering the person unable to conceive or aid in conception they are less then human beings. This is just the religious side there is the personal relationship side as well. My personal opinion is that if you have made peace with your god, your god will help lead you to a place of support.

Deity should help a person gro in what they are not to force them in to what the world believes is right.

We are given certain gifts and flaws to work with It is up to each of us to accept them, and be true to yourself.

I agree. We are all different. With the abuse I have suffered in the name of Christianity I find it hard to remember that and apply it to them as well.

I have come to terms, though still adjusting. I guess i always will. for the first half of my life I was taught a lot of intolerance on one hand then the other...[ that is a discussion for another time.]
