Title pretty much sums it all up. Takoda's mask had a pretty good amount of issues going on. It was my first time working with a resin blank, and I'm not too sure I knew what I was doing, lol.

Things I didn't like about the old mask:
1. Before sewing on the newer ears I had made, the other ones looked AWFUL.
2. Both eyes had HUGE bubbles in them, and I had some difficulty with one in terms of lighting up.
3. I did a pretty terrible job shaving the fur, especially around the muzzle.
4. The elastic on the inside for the moving jaw wore out, making it not completely close.
5. The lower jaw I bought off of ebay was too tall, making it so unless I REALLY opened the jaws, you would only see gums.
Anything else I'm forgetting :P

I used to really love seeing my suit in pictures, but lately .....eh not so much, haha. I didn't think I was going to be able to finish the new mask I already had a blank for until after RMFC, which was really upsetting. I didn't have the one thing I needed to progress forward; eyes. It took a while for me to finally be able to order them from DVC.

About a week or so ago, they finally arrived in the mail much to my delight ^^ I worked my tail off trying to get it done (but not to where it was sloppy). I took the ears, neck, and fan from the old mask and put em on/in the new one to save time, money, and supplies, though I may redo those in the future.

Things I like about the new mask/what it features so far:
1. Larger, better painted LED eyes :D (my favorite part)
2. Springs instead of elastic for the jaw movement.
3. WAY BETTER jaw movement!! The last mask NEVER was this great!
4. A better shave job overall with the fur (although not perfect)
5. Better inner padding

Although so very close, she isn't complete yet!! I'm waiting for a better lower jaw in the mail ^^ when that comes, I'll just have to install that and add the lips! Like I said, she isn't perfect but WAYYYY better than the last one :D I can't wait to take her out suiting and get better pictures! (I suck at pictures T~T)
