Hi there, sorry for the delay this past week — I had family come and visit for 2 weeks and then I had to attend the Illustration Conference (I got to meet and exchange cards with so many of my heroes!!) but unfortunately two days ago my monitor started dying and is now pretty much dead. If anyone is good with electronics and if there might be a fix I would love to know because losing it is completely crippling for my process.

Some info/the issue; I have an HP L2245wg (the one with the swivel stuff if it matters) and the screen started doing a flickering towards the top and then it just cuts out to black. If I restart the monitor it stays on for about 10-30 seconds and then does the same again. If I use a flashlight on it I can still see the icons and text displayed so my guess is that it is a backlight issue but I'm honestly not super well-versed on the technical side of these so if anyone can offer some insight — I would love to hear. If I have to get a new one that sucks super bad but it is what it is I guess. If so, expect some more commission slots to open up after I complete this round.
