Eeuugh, yeah. I recently had issues with my own hosted webserver, where I wasnt able to access files on it here and there... until I could access none of my files! Got it checked out, kind of, and turns out that Im getting a 'HDD failure imminent, backup and replace!' message when the system boots up.

Since the webserver computer is back west in my parents house, and Im 2500 kms away, I wont be able to fix it myself until I go back, unless I get my parents to take it into a shop and HOPE that they can recover some data.

This means all my hosted images and pictures, songs, etc, its all in limbo for the moment. Technically I could let my webserver run anyways, as the OS and applications are on a seperate HDD, but... I cant get my parents to uninstall the HDD right now. just means even my teamspeak server is done for now. Actually... easy enough to ask parents to disconnect HDD and just let the drive sit there without power or such until I can fix it... Hmm...


TL;DR, webserver hosted files are currently down. Possibly until November
