Depends on the story line you go by. I'm not a huge Batman buff or anything but I know in the Batman Beyond story line he ends up old, alone and so feeble he actually has to pull a gun on a robber, but there was also an episode of Batman the Animated Series where Alfred writes a story that sort of tells Bruce's future in which he marries and has a kid, and it goes on from there with the batman name being carried on. My point being that it depends on which Bruce Wayne you were to be the happy married one or the old miserable bachelor.

I'm sure there's many other story line's from the comics and what not but I don't know them.
