Yeah this whole thing is becoming WWII but with Muslim Americans instead of Japanese Americans. People need to realize not. all Muslims are zealous, and that there are zealots within all beliefs from Christians to Atheists. Never make an assumption about were one stands on each end of the spectrum.

I agree religion is NOT the route of all evil. Religion has been used for evil in the past and present yes but by advantageous people, such as certain clergymen, kings, queens in the past - Canterbury Tales is an excellent example of the two sides of the church back then-, and politicians today . it is also used for good, but stuff like Westboro is more media interesting.

By the same coin please do not imply that the countries you mentioned are the way they are because of being atheist rather than because of them being communist. As an agnostic I have the same moral code as anyone else, as do most other agnostics and atheists. The world will not fall to hell without religion, nor will it be any greater. Morals come from the brain, peoples ability to reason, the lessons we learn in life. Morals can be learned from religion but not strictly or alone from them. Evil exists from people's greed, religion was merely a tool for this greed for some and there will always be other tools.

Also I'd like to see some proof ALL people of those countries are Atheist. It sounds like some fake statistic used by religious zealots to attack people for not following their beliefs. I try to compose myself as much as possible but that struck me personally, man.

My point was not anything against Atheism, i brought up that point to say that being a theist or an Atheist do not indicate whethere a person is a good person or bad person. A vast majority of people in England ate Atheist, as is a lot of Taiwan. I over simplified that part but i thought it was kinda straightforward.

And truth be told, Cuban citizens are still somewhat religious. Ironically there is a growing Muslim population and the government itself actually erected a mosque after receiving aid from Turkey.

I hate to sound rude but Muslims should leave anyone who doesn't agree with their religion alone. They're the ones who seem to have the highest amounts of radical Terrorism.
Also if Muslims come to America, they need to respect American laws and the American way of life. they can't get triggered by Christmas, or girls who don't completely cover up. Sorry bruh.

Yes, people should not bully people who dont agree with their religion, but to be fair, christians are also guilty of objecting to people who dont follow their ways. And i may be a bit biased but ive seen more christian's bullying people who dont agree with them than ive seen muslims. For example, anti lgbt laws, laws restricting women's reproductive rights, trying to have the bible taught in PUBLIC schools. Now these are more extreme examples but its not fair to single out muslims as people who do this. People who do this in general are annoying, be it christians, atheists, muslims, buhdists, etc.

Now Yes, they SEEM to have the highest amount of radical terrorism, but there are a few reasons it SEEMS this way. First of all, the middle east, which has a high muslim population, used to be very civil and westernized, and if you look in any history text book, muslim scholars and intellectuals pioneered medicine, mathematics at a time when europe was in the dark ages. The reason why the middle east is very screwed up today is because of western intervention messing things up over there. In the later half of the 20th century. the CIA was responsible for a coup that ousted a Democratic leader with a dictator who was friendly to the west. Then there was the Russian invasion of Afghanistan, after which we (the US) armed and trained rebels to fight against the Russians. Going back even further, after ww1, the West divided up the middle east into sections, spiting societies in two. It is very complex but in general, the middle east isn't fucked up just because it is fucked up.

Radical religious terrorism isnt just islamic though. Christians did it (and alot of right wing American Hate groups are christians), Buddhists do it, atheists even do it. Terrorism comes in many shape and forms and its not just religious either. The IRA in the 80's. The FBI recently arrested three AMERICAN men who were trying to blow up an entire apartment building full of somali immigrants.

Yes, anyoen who comes to America needs to respect american laws, and i feel like they should engage in american culture, but assimilation is difficult for people coming from a different country and people should be understanding of that. Maybe SOME muslims object to certain things Americans do, and they shouldn't, but they arent the only people who do that. Non-muslims lost their shit because last year, starbucks didnt have a christmas themed holiday cup. I havent heard of muslims orchestrating a campaign to ban christmas as a national holiday. Maybe you can find a few scenarios but on the whole, i think its unfair to say that about muslims.
I appreciate that you would be tolerant of a Muslim who is tolerant, but you kind of think that only a small amount are. and you kind of have a very skewed view of them. They are just people, like anyone else. You may say that Islam doesnt exactly fit in with western culture, but what about Christianity? that came from Israel. I know foreign born muslims who love America. All muslims disavow terrorist groups. Why do you think it deosnt mesh with western culture? Have you read the Koran or a book about Islam or talked to a Muslim? I have, and i know muslims.

Yes there are controvercial aspects about Islam, but there are also some about Christianity too. I'd explain this in MUCH more detail but its late and im tired. If you have read this far, thank you.
