Slightly Old News: CAFE Excluded from Toronto Pride Parade..

The Canadian Association For Equality was excluded at the last minute from participating in Toronto's annual Pride Parade due to their values and mission "not being in the same spirit of Pride Toronto and World Pride".
CAFE is a gender rights organization, with a slight focus on men's rights, that has fought hard for parenting rights for gays in Canada and worldwide. They have marched in Toronto's Pride Parade in the past and for them to be thrown under the bus by the people they're on the side of is rather shocking.

Because they are a gender/human rights organization that spends a good amount of its efforts on parenting rights for LGBT individuals. They were also excluded from the parade after the official cut off date for organizations to be asked to not march. So it was against their own rules. They've also marched in the parade in the past with no problems. It's kinda dishonest and strange that the parade would break their own rules specifically to exclude them from marching, leaving them with no time to even appeal the parade's decision.
