My assumption is that you're more comfortable working with common species like bunnies, canines, foxes, equines, and felines, and more unusual species like reptiles, insects and (maybe) avians are more difficult to work with in your style. (But you can still draw some great ones :) )

I have birds and moths as anthros but I don't go for many lizards, it's known. I can draw them if asked but Lola is a bird who does not even have wings.

I could make that dream come true if I were willing to compromise honesty and integrity, sure. But some things are just not worth it.

Just curious btw, on how you feel that a domestic situation compromises honesty and integrity. I've have similar views on the matter but likely for very different reasons.

Ah, makes sense. Money differences can make it challenging to have a deep, 'best of friends' kind of relationship. A GF of some years ago couldn't help but feel that I was after her money, until we went through a couple traumatic accidents together. :/

Being meaner is a relative thing, though, and doesn't mean the "meaner" person is a troll or bully or the "not-so-mean" person is a saint or sweetheart. After all, a good parent has to be a touch mean in order to maintain discipline over their children or a business manager when they must kick out abusive customers. Sometimes, being "meaner" is just being bolder and more assertive compared to one who withdraws when confronted. And I apologize if I sounded like I was lecturing or if I gave offense.
