I feel ya there... Essential government IT worker. I'm working 7 days a week now, often 14+ hours a day to cover all the other non-essential staff who have been frozen or transferred to other departments. -_-

I'm glad you're doing okay; I was getting worried about you. I, too, have an 'essential' job (working security), but I also have time to sit and read or even write, I took some of the money I made writing term papers for St00pid St00dents and bought a little laptop. My job is primarily sitting in my car and watching the area, so I can pretend I'm writing.

Doing an essential job too and the last two weeks were insane until regulations of social distancing etc came through....and some people still ignore it .... Stay safe!

My company has also been deemed essential, even as the work itself has fallen off to a drip and I don't know how much longer I'll be able to stay at it. Glad to hear you're safe and healthy, tho. Keep that trend going!
