Dad's funeral service was Saturday, it was wonderful, especially when the congregation saw the video of him singing 'How Great Thou Art', one of his favorite songs... and then joined in.

That was a good thing, Saturday was happy-- and today we went up to the national cemetery for his military burial..... that, wasn't so happy :(

Mom and the rest of the family that came, went in the van, I went with a close friend because there wasn't room for us.

Mom and I got separated on the freeway, we hit traffic and got lost, then once they got there, directed us to the wrong ceremony....



The ceremony ended less than five minutes before I got there, not only was I late, it was short enough I missed the entire thing I got to say goodbye at least, and see where he'll rest; and mom understood completely, so it could have been worse, but.............. :( :( :( :(
