if you're gonna rant about a final fantasy game, rant about XIII. What a fucking travesty that was.

I actually rather liked XIII. Found the combat engaging like a timed puzzle that could be solved multiple ways, enjoyed the fact that the focus was on the characters and how they dealt with their baggage, and the plot while a bit jumbled and convoluted was about doing away with your oppressors and daring to stand on your own two feet.

As for the sequels? Well...I didn't care for XIII-2, like at all, and I still haven't played XIII-3.

now. I liked XII for what you hated it for, but I rather iked the story the most.. I did feel as though baltheir and fran or even basch should.habe been the main characters as they ahd a muuuuuch more engaging story behind them... but yeah. I dont agree with your review, but I respect it as a honslest and fair assessment of the game.

You really should play Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Marche will show you just how unlikable and self-centered a protaganist can become, Ashe can't even hold a candle to the things he does during his story~ :3
