Good news! And bad news.

The good news! I am feeling much better, since posting my last journal. I wanted to thank everyone so much for all their kindness and ideas. <3
The bad news. I don't think I'll be making it to Rainfurrest this year, after all. My husband and I have gone over our finances, and it's not looking like we can afford the trip this year. I mean, it would technically be possible, but not a great idea. Right now we want to focus on getting our finances in order for finding a place of our own (as we're still living with my parents at this point).
I'm sorry to those of you who were looking forward to seeing me there! I'll be redoubling my efforts to attend next year. ):

If it was my paradise, I'd live on a totally self-sustained farm, internet would be free, and I'd draw all day for free. <3
I know if I could I would go to every con lmao. Money is a pain
But yeah get your finances in order. If you have a mortgage or any big debts try to pay off the ones that are sucking the most interest. Actually I recall having a credit card payment (suggestion) program I made a while back, I should probably translate that to AHK... or Javascript...
It's a shame you can't go to the convention, I'm sure you would've had lots of fun. But nobody can fault you for being careful with your finances, and getting your own place sounds like it'd be pretty awesome, right? <3
We had our own place for 2 years. It was a dump, but it was my dump, and I always swore I'd never go back to living with parents or even roommates... it's so easy to have a happy place when you have a whole home of your own! I'm dying to get back out there on my own, for sure.
