But seriously, I hope the ending of this series is better than that bullshit 02 ending. Tai is a UN ambassador? All of the digidestined are super successful and perfect people? Wat? I'm not asking for a tragic ending or anything, but something a little less contrived and cheesy this time around, please.

Don't forget "everybody's a Chosen/Digidestined".

I mean, way to undermine the one tragic element to Yamaki's character by basically saying, "Oh, it's okay, you're dead and turned into butterfies, but everybody ELSE will be happy at least!"

I'll just be happy if they go back to the Dark Ocean and handle Dagomon and Daemon. WORST. PLOTHOLES. EVER.

i tai was a lawyer...for some reason. and matt was an astronaut, again, for some reason. sora had a fashion line, for some reason. mimi had a cooking show, for some reason. tk was a novelist, and not married to kari, who was a teacher. as for izzy....i don't remember what he did, and joe's, actually made sense. ken became a detective, and yolei was a stay at home mom....dont remember what cody did either.

aside from many weird ass jobs that come out of nowhere, the only complaint i have *and had when 02 actually ended* was why arent tk and kari together!

Tai and Agumon were diplomats for the digital world at the United Nations. Also, he and Sora never hooked up? Wat? Aside from TK and Kairi, their relationship had the most development and they don't end up together in the end? Yeah ok. >_<

Izzy became a digimon researcher with Joe's older brother and Sora's father. His and Joe's are the only two epilogues that made sense at the end of 02. The whole thing is just unfortunately cheesy because everyone in the world suddenly has a digimon so there's nothing special about being a digi-destined anymore. I know it's a kid's show, but the ending could have had a bit more gravitas to it at least. :/

yeah, that actually made sense. in an episode during 02, tai asked her out, and she said no...because she liked matt...and apparently they ended up together. i missed that episode too. did this 03 come out yet? this was a year old.

Damn, I remember that first series. My older sister and I both watched it. Now she's middle aged and I'm almost so. XD

Seriously, I can't believe this is real, but yes!! I loved the first two seasons of Digimon the best (though I'll agree with the above about Season 2's ending...it was just cheesy.

But seriously, now I'm kinda wondering about how this is gonna work. Cause aren't Tai and the gang in High school already during season 2? or maybe I just always thought they were. (minus TK and Kari of course).

In 02, Taichi was 14. In this new anime, he'll be 17. He should be in his third or fourth year, depending on when the story picks back up.

Which would mean Jou should be in college or med school by now!

That's why I got confused. I swear, as much as I LOVE anime, they make some of these characters look so much older than they really are

But yeah, I'm wondering if Davis, Yolei,and Cody will make an appearence.

I know this is gonna go back to older digidestined, but since this is supposed to take place after Adventure 02 it would only make sense.

Just saying, cause as much as I love Agumon and Gabumon, wouldn't mind seeing Veemon/Exveemon again too ^^.

One thing I got to know is that if this takes place after the 1st 2 series, does that mean we still continue the adventure of when all the teens grow up into adults?

I'm uncertain to think about this. On the one hand it could be fun, on the other it could be a sell out like some of the other game based anime out there
