Marker advice

Just wondering how some of y'all handle those particularly streaky evil artist markers? I never usually have issues at all I love colouring with my copics prismacolours and Faber castells though one of my blues does love to streak which at times makes a pretty cool effect in my opinion but some may not like it so thought I'd ask! :)

Sometimes I've found it's the paper, rather than the marker, that's the problem XD but when it IS the marker, occasionally a colorless blender will help get the streaks to fade to be a little less obvious--it doesn't ALWAYS work, and most of those blenders will lighten the color of the marker if used too heavily, but it's worth a shot at least. Also, if you don't mind the extra work, going over the marker with a colored pencil in a shade as close as possible to the marker one (prismacolors markers/pencils are prolly the easist to match, IMO) will help make it less obvious too, actually. :)

That is a good idea!! I have a blender but I've yet to master it XD I think it's because the colour dries too fast before I blend it? If that's a thing? Lol

LOL that can definitely be an issue too XD like i said just depends on both marker AND surface--such fun, no? XD

Yeah depending on the surface you can get streaks sometimes. (I alternate between smooth and vellum and for prismas being so saturating I prefer smooth for them for tr most part :)
