Elder Scrolls Online.

So I've been playing this game since beta. Loved every minute of it. Now though I find myself in a bit of a predicament.
I've reached a point(veteran content) that would greatly benefit from playing in a group. Problem is literally ZERO people I know play this game. It seems unless I join a random guild and try to make friends in game(unlikely, I hate doing that) I'll be forced to quit playing. :(
Does anyone here play on the American megaserver? I'm in the furry guild there but there's only one other active member so…yeah. Looking for people to play with! I'm almost at the point of just paying for a friend or twos account so they'll play, since it seems most are discouraged by the monthly fee.

Given that, I was playing elder scrolls online from the beta to about level 20ish in final game. I quit early as I was able to tell that it wasn't going to be very enjoyable given that it's too different from regular elder scrolls games and a social structure should probably exist to enjoy the game properly.
I do miss FF11's old school ways to cure the social interaction problem. In that game you had to be in a group to do everything, but they're more relaxed leveling parties where you are usually with the same people for several hours. And if people liked partying with you , you may be partying up with them for days, to weeks. After all, you always had to party almost every time you logged in, and once you find people who play good it's easier to stay with them when possible. The game allows for plenty of time for casual social interactions, or just chilling out. Was nice. Then world of warcraft came out and changed/ruined everything. Something even FF14 took pieces from. It's harder and more annoying trying to make game friends when most of the group content is optional, and most of it isn't relaxed or often enough to meet up with regulars and chat. Tis a shame.
