"Today's break gave Ty and Emily Vulpintaur, the league's foxtaur siblings, a chance to relax and toss a ball around at Ty's home. When asked on their own team's performance and what they hope to accomplish during the second half the season, here's what they had to say."
"I feel good about our team's chances of making the playoffs this season," rookie Emily Vulpintaur commented. "And my offensive skills are slowly coming aorund, unlike my brother's when he was a rookie!" She grinned a toothy smile at her brother mockingly, referencing his horrible rookie season "And we are batting Ty's Bracebridge Bombers for the division lead currently, and we still have a three game series against each other coming up the beginning of September, so it'll be fun. Of course, we'll win that series like we did the first one this season."
Ty grinned back at his younger sister as he replied "Well, Bracebridge is having a good season as well, even though we're in a three game skid right now, but I'm confident we'll turn that around quick and get back on the right track. We have a lot of talent on the team. Jirik Utsu is providing great leadership and is a wonderful asset to the team, Now, if you'll excuse us, it's dinnertime and we both need a shower." Ty waved to the crowd that had gathered as the pair ended the interview and picked up their gear and headed on in.
