In my college years I used to sleep in until 12 when I didnt have morning classes, So often I have Brunch, effectively eliminating lunch.

oh, but the One mean I cannot live without however is dinner. If im in a rush I can forgo either breakfast or lunch but I get the munchies at night and I cant sleep on an empty stomach.

I'm the weird one here. Breakfast. A good breakfast is all I need.

supper/dinner for meal time, but meal itself.....hmmm, that is a tough choice for ONE thing, for generality something potato-y (scalloped, mashed, potato salad, corn beef hash) is good for me

Hmm...well I don't know if ya could qualify it in itself as an entire meal 'officially' by itself but since it's ingredients cover all basic four foodgroups an is one of m'faves (as well as many other people m'sure) ...would have ta be... a bacon cheeseburger!... I mean the ones with all the fixin's too.. not jus' the meats an cheese but with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle... etc. Hell it that was the only food around ya could survive on it... an if there were no other kinda food around ya certainly can't live without it :P

Stir fry. There are so many ways to change it up, it's almost impossible to get tired of. And it's so easy. Choose a protein, some veggies, sauce (spicy, sweet, sour, etc.), and a filling side like rice or noodles. Doesn't even cost much!

Roti

Coffee... Of that doesn't count them gimme bento!

Chili.

Salmon nigiri and salmon sashimi. It's not really a full, well-rounded meal, but I could eat it until I explode. I'd die happy.

...And rare steak. Not too thick though, I don't like when my jaw starts to feel like eating is a chore :I

Hmm... Wuff would have to say "Brunch" as the meal time, because it can be lunch, breakfast, or both! And Vargr tends to have his big meal at the middle of the day, unless it's a holiday or weekend. Then it comes later.

As for one dish that Vargr can't do without... There's... no, wuff likes this more... but there's always... and can't forget the....

Hmm... one dish, that if you said Vargr had to do without, wuff would say "Anything but that!"... would probably be the "lowly" burger. So many ways to make it. Done "right", tender, the perfect combination of meats and fat, with juice oozing from the meat, flavor seeping into a bun grilled just enough to give the bread that toasty highlight of flavor, paired with a perfect combination of toppings; crisp, tangy, sweet, savory, salty, earthy, or otherwise....

Yeah, those are heavenly. And there's so many variations that wuff never gets tired of them.

Pizza. I don't have any specific recipes however I'm sure with the variety out there, I can always discover new ways of enjoying pizza. ^w^
