to explain: this weekend I invited my best friend over to a movie-bbq-sleepover whatever. Weather was shit, so we decided to do a movie-sleepover only. Yesterday (saturday) she decided to not come, but we could do today (sunday) instead. Sooo... we bought special food (because of her allergies), made a plan. Today at about 4 pm she calls me to tell me she would be coming over now, BUT ... ONLY UNTIL 10 PM.
yes.. 10 pm.
no sleepover, no long movie-night.
Becauuuuuuuse.... THE DICK SAID SO.

I once had a best friend that was spontaneously coming over to my place at ridiculous times like 5 in the morning just to crash on my sofa to sleep at my place. And i meant she came from HER place, to sleep at MINE. Not that she was already out and around.
I once had a best friend that was going to turn 30 in about two months. THIRTY. Now i have one that's about as independent as a preschool kid.... with her nanny as boyfriend.
I'm so ... HNGGGGRRRAAAAAAHHHHH *strangles pillow*
...Saturday morning at 4 AM i was taken to the ER with heart problems... and when they let me go, the doc told me to not get upset, to rest etc. I'M SO UPSET RIGHT NOW YOU WON'T BELIEVE IT.

the worst possible scenario was her boyfriend could just say "nope no hanging out ever" and knowing if she's as dependent on this guy as you claim she is, she'd probably go "omg ok I love you!" then you'd never see her again. which would also prove that she wasn't a good friend of yours in the first place. loved ones shouldn't make other loved ones choose. "the dick" is already putting her in that situation, you shouldn't either. continue supporting her and being her best friend and accept and be grateful that's shes spending time with you regardless of what "the nanny" says ;w;
that's just my opinion >.< i feel like from a womans pov, i wouldn't want the two most important people in my life fighting over me, because then everyone's gonna get hurt
