Savi gets Spayed! Also Badge Orders Closing.
OH YEAH SUPPOSE I SHOULD MENTION THIS so next thursday I am having surgery haha X_X; Getting my tubes tied - or burned, as it were.
So just a heads up. Recovery shouldn't be -too bad- but I will still be recovering at Rainfurrest (thank goodness for not having a table and having a nice quiet room with one of my best friends)
Also, going to be CLOSING for badge orders after today. Reminder that Rainfurrest pick up gets priority, I am hoping to have them ALL done before the con but want to make sure that the Rainfurrest ones are DEFINITELY done.
So yeah, get your orders in!

Just waiting on invoice for the second one.
I can't wait to see the finished versions.
I asked my primary doctor about it first. She referred me to the OBGYN department (I go to the everett clinic) I got an appointment to meet with a doctor there. He's been great - I think I was lucky. He did ask me if I was sure, but when I explained that I was, there was absolutely no questioning my decision or trying to change my mind. Again, I know that isn't everyone's experience and I was really nervous going in and am really greatful this doctor has been so awesome.
He let me know my options, including more long lasting non-permanent things just in case I thought I might change my mind (like the implant and IUD). The first thing we considered was the ESSURE procedure but after an allergy test I was allergic to nickel so that was out, and we decided on the procedure I am now getting.
So yeah, my experience has been good. Asking your primary care physician is a good idea, they can probably refer you to the right people to talk to to get it done! Good luck!
i'm really glad you were able to find someone who listened to you. hopefully i'll be that lucky! i'm in the pacific northwest so the everett clinic is definitely an option.
i hope your recovery is quick and that you have a great time at rainfurrest-- i'll be going next year, and i'd love a badge if you're open then~
Also if anything it's sad that you HAVE to feel lucky, y'know? I've been hearing more and more stories like yours (and even some from people who seem surprised it is an issue?) so the tides may well be changing. :)
A little Savi in a cone! Eeeeeeeee!
That would be so painfully cute!
Good luck on your procedure and recovery! Hope you heal speedily!
I think what you are thinking of is a hysterectomy, which when done as a complete procedure, can remove the uterus, and ovaries.
I hope all goes well and you recover fast!
Don't push yourself too hard, and recover quickly! <3
