So! Where does the 4 of Swords moniker originate from?

About the same time I decided I wanted to differentiate the fetishy stuff I was writing/drawing from the mundane stuff, I was working on a personal project to distill archetypes from the tarot card deck, just because it wasn't something I hadn't seen done before, and it seemed like a handy thing to be able to draw a card from the deck when I needed some substance to flush out a character.

I had morosely identified myself as 'five of swords', but didn't want to come off as all emo, and I liked the assonance in 'four of swords', so I went with that.

Oh, and at the time Eka's Portal sorted artist's galleries with numbers before letters, so 4ofSwords jumped right up to the front. ;)

For Vespa, I hadn't really thought it through too far, but after drawing this I wrote up a little poem-story about a race of space-faring yellow jacket aliens that came to a boy's finishing school both to gather food and a supply of genetic material for their next batch of offspring. I'd started to illustrate it as well, but it stalled out when I wasn't sure how to proceed with potentially underage prey types in the same batch with 'breeders'.

For MDoS3, that's an illustration for a story that's available in my gallery! As you might expect, they provide each other with plenty of adult entertainment, and then she swallows him down. But that's not the end of the story! He gets eaten in every chapter, in fact. I never finished writing that, but he has a very long and complicated history with a vorish god.
