I use fabric.com for most of my generic furs because it's usually the most inexpensive and offers free shipping. "Luxury shag" is the standard 1.5 inch fur most used in fursuits. The black and white fox is very nice as well. Always remember to order swatches!

Samples of the fur. They sell them for a dollar. Distinctive fabrics and mendels give them away for free but it's not much use unless you're ordering from them.
