It was announced today that a grand jury has opted not to indict Tony Stewart on any criminal charges in the death of Kevin Ward, JR. This does not surprise me - no matter the circumstances, when the deceased charged the person's car, criminal charges are very rare without any concrete proof that the driver deliberately turned into him.

What IS surprising is something found with the release of Ward's autopsy report - the toxicology tests done as part of the autopsy found an impairing amount of marijuana present in his system.

The entire situation suddenly makes a lot more sense with that knowledge.
