My opinion on CoD advanced warfare co-op

Today September 2th marks the day that the co-op mode for Advanced warfare was annoucned. It will either go down as the biggest upset in COD history and live its day in infamy. Or will be taken as it is and people will get over it and even might like it.
IGN has revieled that the co-op mode for advanced warefar is EXO SURVIVAL. The last CoD to have this was MW3, and lots of people hated it. I thought it was ok. Not the best game mode but not thw worst either. It is a round based game of survival. Kill all enemy targets to advance to the next round. Waves got harder as you progressed. Now it returns in Advanced warfare but with the edition of the EXO SUITS and new objectives.
The community as a whole hated this game mode. And are not happy to see it return. Im giving it a chance. So far I have seen, Death threats, Bitching, and pre-order cancilations. All because of a game mode that most people will barly play.
The big issue is the fact that people got hyped up for something they literaly knew nothing about. Sledgehammer games told us nothing about the co-op mode. All they told us was it was for up to 4 players. But didn't tell us what it was. So naturaly people started to speculate as to what it could be. of course everyone jumped to ZOMBIES. The co-op mode that the Black Ops series has had and is a big sucsess. Other people were thinking it would be aliens or dinosores. There was futher speculation of a cyborg zombies.
NON OF THESE were ever confimed. Just what people were assuming was going to be the co-op. NOW, SHG had mentioned that the EXO SUIT would be in the co-op. THIS INSTANTLY told me that it was NOT going to be zombies, or any of the above mentions. I instanly knew that it was going to be survival. Which leads us to the discustion.
What are my thoughts on the EXO SURVIVAL game mode?
I played MW3's survival. It was a ok game mode. Some hated it, others didn't care. I thought it was ok. Good for killing a little time.
AW survival will be diffrent in the fact that it supports up to 4 players. Which is 2 extra players then MW3's version. AW's survival also has the Exo suits, which allows double jumping and doost dodging. But the goal of the game is the same.
I have mixed feelings on this survival mode. I don't hate it. But I also don't like it. Its a half and half. Speaking from my experience from WM3, it was a fun mode for a week. But then got boring and repeditive. Tho AW's will have objectives in some of its waves. Which might spice things up a bit.
All in all I would have prefured something similer to Zombies from Black Ops 2. But it dosn't really matter because I only play the co-op with friends. For the most part I only play the Campaign and the multiplayer. And so long as the Multiplayer is not a disasteruos repeat of ghosts. Then Advanced warfare will be my game.
So in short MW3 and Advanced warfare share the co-op mode. People are butt hurt that its not "new" or a zombie repeat. Boo who, get over it.
