Wrack, the New Doom Clone - Now Available

Wrack is now available on Steam, at 10% off for a limited time.
Although not specifically part of the Doom universe, Wrack was developed by members of the Doom modding community and it emulates several aspects of Doom's/Quake's gameplay style, except with an added combo/chaining system that encourages quick action and rewards you with new attacks. It even has a soundtrack by Bobby Prince, composer for Doom & Doom 2.
So if you're interested in playing Doom with a slightly fresher, cel-shaded coat of paint, download Wrack and give the bad guys a whack. ;)

I don't think there's any sort of demo version yet. They really should make one!
The game is as you say suppost to be something of the oldschool days.
Its style reminds from various old games i think mixed to a own flavor.
I consider to possibly get it around christmas sales.
But speaking of if you like new old new shooters, You should have a look on the 2013 shadow warrior game. that picks up alot of the old Shadow Warrior, combined with the todays niffties biffties. All in all a very enjoyable not so CoD shooter. And I think it falls in the same category as Wrack, (Modern classic feel shooter)
